Back to Feeling Like Yourself
Expert care, on your schedule
Trained at the Mayo Clinic and quadruple board-certified, the goal of Alta Behavioral Medicine is simple:
Provide clear, expert care without unnecessary barriers.
Alta Behavioral Medicine was built for people who don’t have time to feel off. Whether it’s your focus, energy, sleep, or mood — when something’s not right, it shows up everywhere. Work, relationships, time outside — all of it. This is a more direct approach to care. No waiting weeks. No bouncing between providers. No unnecessary friction. You work one-on-one with a physician to understand what’s going on, build a clear plan, and adjust as needed — so you can get back to feeling like yourself and doing what you actually enjoy. Care that is flexible, personalized, and designed to fit into real life — not disrupt it.
About Maria Reyes
I grew up in Sandy, Utah, and I am honored to serve the community that raised me. I earned my medical degree from the University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine and completed specialized training in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic.
For the past 10 years I have worked with veterans facing severe PTSD and trauma. That experience taught me that, no matter how dark the road seems, there is a path back to a meaningful life. I am passionate about helping people who feel mentally “stuck,” whether due to past trauma, current life stressors, medical illness, memory or age-related changes, or addiction.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. By personalizing care, we work together to address the root causes of your symptoms so you can return to what matters most: your life.
Practical. Personalized. Focused.
Care is built around:
→ Understanding root causes
→ Creating realistic treatment plans
→ Supporting long-term performance and stability
No overcomplication. No one-size-fits-all approach.
Built Around How You Actually Live
When something’s off, you feel it everywhere.
Get clear answers and a plan — without delays or unnecessary steps — so you can get back to feeling like yourself.
